- What We Cannot Do

Dental Care
Dental care is vital to the overall health of any pet. Dental disease can lead to health issues with the heart, liver, and kidneys and has the potential to seep into your pet’s bloodstream. In fact, 80 percent of dogs and 70 percent of cats over three years of age suffer from some form of dental disease, making it the most common pet health issue among our pet population.
Dental care is provided right on our truck, where pets get one-on-one attention and a calm recovery environment. We tailor every procedure to your pet, from routine cleanings to extractions, always with a strong focus on pain control and comfort. Because your pet recovers at home afterward, you’ll notice a smoother, less stressful experience compared to a busy clinic setting.

Surgery
We are pleased to offer our clients the highest quality veterinary care. We want nothing but the best for our clients, especially during surgery. It is our goal to make sure that our surgical team is prepared to offer our clients the latest medical procedures. We look forward to learning about the newest medical advances in surgery and actively partake in continued surgical education.
We offer same-day surgical services for routine and elective procedures in our state-of-the-art mobile unit. From mass removals to wound repairs and spay/neuter surgeries, our setup provides a sterile, comfortable environment with advanced monitoring and gentle recovery. All surgical procedures are performed on our mobile unit, which we park right in your driveway. Your pet stays close to home, and you receive updates every step of the way. Tour our Mobile Unit here or watch this video to see more.

Spay and Neuter
Spaying and neutering are important and necessary medical procedures that enhance the quality of your pets’ life. Not only does spaying and neutering have positive effects on your pets’ health, it’s also vital to controlling the homeless pet population.
Spay and neuter surgeries are performed right at your home—so your pet avoids the stress of a car ride or a noisy clinic. Our team sets up a safe, sterile environment in our mobile unit, which we park right in your driveway. We take time to get your pet comfortable before surgery. You’ll receive updates throughout the procedure, and when it’s done, your pet is already home—no groggy car rides or confusing hand-offs. We’re right there to explain recovery, answer your questions, and make sure you feel supported every step of the way. It’s a personalized, less stressful experience for both pets and their people.

Preventative and Wellness Exams
At WoofDoctor on Wheels, we believe that regular checkups, preventative, and wellness exams are critical to your pets’ well-being. These wellness exams give us a chance to evaluate the overall health of your pet while also giving us a baseline for their unique bodies and tendencies.
Not only do these exams keep us up-to-date with your pets’ health, but they also allow us to detect potential problems before they become serious. During a wellness exam, Dr. Cifranick takes time to get to know your pet, review their overall health, and talk through diet, lifestyle, and any changes you’ve noticed. These visits aren’t rushed. We focus on comfort, clear communication, and making sure you leave with answers and a plan. Preventative care is how we keep pets healthy, happy, and thriving at home. This thorough checkup gives us vital information to help keep your pet healthy!

Pharmacy
It is our goal to provide you with complete veterinary care in a professional and accessible atmosphere. That is why we offer a fully stocked pharmacy to fill your pets’ prescription needs.
We’ll help you get the right medication for your pet in the way that works best for your family. Some prescriptions can be filled directly through WoofDoctor on Wheels at your appointment. For everyday preventatives (like heartworm, flea, and tick), our online pharmacy makes it easy—shipped straight to your door with ongoing refills. If a local pharmacy is more convenient, we’ll happily send prescriptions there too. Our goal is to keep your pet covered while keeping things simple for you.
OR
We can fill certain prescriptions right at your appointment, send preventatives through our online pharmacy for delivery to your home, or work with your local pharmacy—whatever makes things easiest for you.

Hospice and Euthanasia
Saying goodbye to your pet can be extremely difficult. The process can be emotionally and mentally draining. We don’t want you to be alone at the end stages of a pets’ life, and we promise to do everything we can to make it easier on you and your pet. Most of all, we promise to treat each case with compassionate and understanding care.
Knowing when the time is right can be a difficult choice. There are many factors that go into deciding to euthanize a pet, and it is a personal issue that differs from pet owner to pet owner. But every pet owner is inevitably faced with making that tough decision, and we want to be there alongside you to aid in any way we can.
If you have special requests, please let us know and we will be sure to accommodate them. Dealing with the end of a pets’ life is never easy, but we want to do whatever we can to make the process less difficult.

Vaccinations
Keeping your pet up to date on vaccines is one of the simplest ways to protect their health. We offer core and lifestyle vaccines right at your home—without the stress of a clinic visit. Every vaccine plan is tailored to your pet’s age, lifestyle, and health history, so they get exactly what they need (and nothing they don’t).

Labs and Bloodwork
We make lab work simple by collecting samples right at home—whether it’s routine wellness screening, monitoring ongoing conditions, or checking before a procedure. Results are usually back quickly, and Dr. C will email you a copy along with a thorough review so you’re fully involved in understanding your pet’s health and making medical decisions together. It’s an easy, stress-free way to stay on top of your pet’s care without leaving home.

Medical Concerns Visits
If your pet isn’t acting like themselves, Dr. C will take the time to listen, examine, and talk through what’s going on. Together, we’ll decide on the best next steps—whether that’s treatment, testing, or simply monitoring at home.

Ultrasound and Diagnostic Imaging
We offer X-rays, abdominal and cardiac ultrasounds right at your home. Jessica, our licensed veterinary technician, performs the scan, and then the images are sent to a board-certified specialist for interpretation. This way, your pet gets advanced diagnostics in a low-stress environment, while you still benefit from the expertise of a specialist.

Microchips
Microchipping is a simple, one-time procedure that gives your pet a lifelong ID. It’s quick, nearly painless, and done right at home—so if your pet is ever lost, they can be identified and returned quickly.

Routine Care
Our technician team can handle many of the everyday things pets need—like allergy shots, nail trims, ear cleanings, and anal gland expressions—right in the comfort of your home. We’re also able to collect lab samples, check blood pressure, perform ultrasounds for specialist review and more. For things like ears, eyes, or skin concerns, our technician consults directly with Dr. Cifranick during the visit so you still get medical guidance without needing a full doctor appointment.

Nutrition and Weight Loss
Dr. C creates personalized nutrition and weight loss plans tailored to your pet’s needs, lifestyle, and health goals. Whether your pet needs to slim down, build muscle, or manage a chronic condition, we make it achievable and sustainable. Healthy weight management can add years to your pet’s life and improve their overall comfort and mobility.

Laser Therapy
Laser therapy uses focused light to reduce inflammation, ease pain, and speed healing—without medication or side effects. It’s ideal for pets with arthritis, soft tissue injuries, or recovery after surgery. Treatments are quick, gentle, and performed right at home to keep pets relaxed and comfortable.

Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy uses your pet’s own blood to accelerate healing and reduce inflammation. After processing the plasma in our mobile lab, we inject the concentrated platelets into targeted areas to stimulate tissue repair and pain relief. It’s a safe, effective option for pets with osteoarthritis, injuries, or post-surgical recovery—performed right at home.

Telemedicine
Sometimes a phone call is all that’s needed. Telemedicine visits give you direct access to Dr. Cifranick to discuss concerns, review test results, adjust medications, or get guidance on what your pet may need next. It’s a convenient way to stay connected to your pet’s care plan without a full in-person visit.

Phone Call with Technician
Need guidance but not a full doctor visit? Our Tech Connect service lets you speak directly with a licensed veterinary technician for help with things like medication refills, minor concerns, or general pet care questions. They can consult with Dr. Cifranick if needed and make sure you get clear, reliable advice without scheduling a full exam.

What We Cannot Do
Because we’re a mobile practice, there are some things we can’t safely offer—like overnight hospitalization, emergency surgeries, or certain treatments that require 24-hour monitoring. Those services are best handled in a full hospital setting where pets can be watched closely.
Our focus is on what works well at home: wellness and sick visits, preventative care, surgery in your driveway, and compassionate end-of-life support. If your pet ever needs more than we can provide, we’ll point you in the right direction and make sure you’re not left on your own.
