How It Works
Whether it’s a wellness exam with Dr. Cifranick or routine care from our Technician Team, WoofDoctor on Wheels brings trusted veterinary care right to your doorstep. We proudly serve Beaufort, Bluffton, Hilton Head, and surrounding lowcountry (see all locations).
Our Mobile Clinics
Veterinary Care Visits with Dr. Cifranick
Our fully equipped mobile clinic features a surgical suite, dental area, and all the tools needed for comprehensive wellness exams and routine procedures. The mobile unit is driven by Dr. Cifranick and an assistant, providing a familiar, friendly face for your pets. Whether it’s annual check-ups, dental cleanings, or minor procedures, this is the vehicle you’ll see arriving to care for your pets. View our Mobile Unit or watch a video tour with Dr. Cifranick.
Routine Care Visits with Technician Team
Our Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), Jess, drives her fully equipped mini mobile unit, joined by her assistant to provide care right to your door. They offer routine services like nail trims, ear cleanings, and monthly injections, as well as lab work and ultrasounds. Trained to assist Dr. Cifranick, they can often provide direct care, without a full vet appointment, straight to your home. Learn more about Veterinary Technician appointments.
Services
State of the art veterinary care—wellness, dental, diagnostics, surgery and more—without leaving home.
Book All Services At Once
When scheduling, please select one primary reason for your visit. If your pet needs anything additional, such as a nail trim, ear cleaning, or anal gland expression, please include it in the notes section. Letting us know ahead of time allows us to plan your visit efficiently, complete all care in one smooth session, and keep your pet comfortable without repeated handling.
Gather Medical Records & Samples
Providing your pet’s previous medical records gives our veterinarian a full picture of their health, helping us make the best care decisions. If samples like fecal or urine tests are needed, please ask our team the best way to collect and store them.
Create a Comfortable Environment
Please have pets in an accessible room or a carrier (for small dogs and cats). This helps us start the visit in a calm, stress-free way, with time to let your pet get comfortable before any care begins. For additional tips, read more about how to prepare for your first visit and helpful questions to ask your veterinarian.
Payments & Cancellations
Payment is collected at the end of your pet’s visit for convenience. If you need to cancel, please give us at least 24 business hours’ notice. Cancellations with less notice will incur a fee of $170 for Veterinary Care appointments and $45 for Routine Care appointments.
Pricing
We believe pricing should be clear, straightforward, and free of surprises. At WoofDoctor on Wheels, we are transparent about costs so you understand what to expect before your visit and feel confident about the care your pet receives. Most visits include three main components: Travel Fee, Exam Fee, Services/Products provided during the visit. We keep pricing simple and fair—just one travel fee per visit, no matter how many pets we see. Each pet has their own exam fee, and any additional services or medications are added only if needed, so every pet gets the attention they deserve.
For families who prefer a more predictable way to budget for veterinary care, we offer Care Plans, which bundle routine services into convenient monthly payments while providing savings compared to paying for visits individually.

Our veterinary practice operates exclusively as a mobile service; we do not have a stationary office. We come directly to your home to provide your pet with the necessary care during their appointments.
Due to the nature of our mobile clinic operating on an appointment basis and serving a large geographic area, we are not equipped to manage true emergency situations.
For sick visits or other non-emergent situations where your pet is unwell but stable, we do have several ways to help provide timely care at home. A Veterinary Technician phone consultation can help assess symptoms, answer questions, and guide next steps. In other cases, a Veterinary Technician in-home appointment may be appropriate to evaluate your pet and provide supportive care.
If you’re unsure whether your pet’s situation is urgent, we recommend contacting our team for guidance. Our current clients can always reach us by phone, text, or email and we’re happy to help guide the best next steps for your pet. Call or text us at (843) 966-3362 or email us at info@woofdoctor.vet. You can also review our emergency decision guide, which includes a free downloadable flowchart to help determine the best next step for your pet’s care.
If your pet is experiencing a true emergency, we recommend visiting a dedicated emergency veterinary hospital such as New River Veterinary Specialists in Hardeeville or Carolina Veterinary Critical Care in Bluffton for immediate treatment.

Yes, we offer Care Plans for families who prefer a more predictable way to budget for veterinary care. These plans bundle many of the services pets receive throughout the year into a convenient monthly payment and provide savings compared to paying for each visit individually. The duration of our appointments ranges from 30 minutes to an hour for each pet. The length may vary based on whether it is the pet’s initial visit and the purpose of the consultation. Our objective is to allocate sufficient time for a thorough examination of your pet and to address any questions you may have. Check our our blog to read more about what to expect during your pet’s first appointment with us.
In households with multiple pets, we charge a single travel fee for each visit, regardless of the number of pets. However, the examination fee is applied individually to each pet. Our approach is to attentively attend to one pet at a time, and our services are fully equipped to accommodate homes with several pets. Watch a multipet appointment or check our our blog to read more about what to expect during your pet’s first appointment with us.
Obtaining your pet’s past veterinary records is essential for us to gain comprehensive knowledge of their medical background. Understanding the full scope of their health history enables us to provide the most effective treatment.
Dr. Cifranick reviews previous records to familiarize with past treatments, medications administered, and other relevant details to ensure the best care for your pet.
Yes, our WoofDoctor on Wheels Technician Team provides laser therapy services for your pet right in the comfort of their home, aligned with the guidance of your own veterinarian or as suggested by Dr. Cifranick. We will schedule a consultation with our licensed veterinary technician to determine an appropriate care regimen for your pet. Read more about laser therapy at WoofDoctor on Wheels.
The WoofDoctor on Wheels Technician Team is certified to conduct both abdominal and cardiac ultrasounds at your home, with the results available to be forwarded to a specialist for assessment. These ultrasound services can be provided upon the recommendation of your regular veterinarian or as advised by Dr. Cifranick. Read more about how we handle ultrasounds.
Being entirely mobile, we meticulously plan our visit routes the day before appointments. This planning enables us to give pet owners an estimated time of arrival (ETA) the day before we’re scheduled to visit, providing clarity on when they can expect our arrival. We kindly request a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations.
Should you need to cancel less than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment, please note that a cancellation fee of $170 for Veterinary care appointments and $45 for Routine Care/Technician Team appointments will apply.
For rescheduling or cancellations, you may access your Kumba account at your convenience (Kumba is our scheduling platform), or you can contact us at 843-966-3362 during our regular business hours.

As we operate solely as a mobile service, the travel fee we charge covers the time required to reach your location as well as the cost of fuel. Travel fees vary depending on distance within our service area. You can view a full breakdown of our mobile pricing here.
Because some areas require more travel time and have fewer direct access routes, our travel fee varies by location within our service area.
- $90 — Beaufort / Lady’s Island Proper (including Dataw)
- $120 — Bluffton, Ridgeland, Hardeeville, Seabrook, Dale, Yemassee, Fripp, Harbor Island, Lands End, St. Helena Island, Pleasant Point, and Coosaw Island
- $160 — Hilton Head Island
Because our mobile schedule is carefully planned and routed in advance, we’re not able to accommodate true same-day veterinary appointments. However, we do offer phone calls with licensed veterinary technicians, which may be available the same day if a full veterinary visit isn’t required.
In some situations, our technician team may also be able to visit your home to collect lab samples or perform diagnostics more quickly. Dr. Cifranick will still review all findings, provide a diagnosis, and follow up with you directly. This approach allows us to provide timely support when possible, while keeping our mobile visits efficient and stress-free for every pet.
You can also explore our online resources for guidance when your pet needs care. Our Emergency Decision Guide helps you determine the best next step if your pet becomes ill, and our Home First Aid Kit guide includes recommended supplies along with basic first aid instructions for common situations.
After your pet has become an established patient with us, we can provide telemedicine consultations. These sessions don’t include video chat; instead, they are focused on discussions and advice from Dr. Cifranick regarding any concerns or inquiries you might have about your pet’s health.
We also offer phone calls with Licensed Veterinary Technicians for certain situations that don’t require a full doctor consultation. Our technicians can help with things like medication refills, minor concerns, or general pet care questions, and they can consult directly with Dr. Cifranick if medical input is needed.
Both options make it easy to stay connected to your pet’s care plan between in-person visits, ensuring you always have professional guidance when you need it.
Our schedule generally books up 2 to 3 weeks in advance. To arrange a visit, you’re welcome to schedule at your convenience by going to https://www.woofdoctor.vet/appointments/. Please note, on occasion, earlier slots may become available due to cancellations.
